The Holbrook Police Department has installed a MedReturn drop-box in the lobby of the police station. The box is available 24/7/365 and provides an anonymous was for residents to dispose of unwanted or expired prescription drugs. Accepted items for safe disposal include prescriptions, prescription patches, prescription medications, prescription ointments, over-the-counter medications, vitamins, medication samples and medications for pets.
Items that cannot be accepted in the med-return box include:
- Needles (sharps)
- Thermometers
- Hydrogen peroxide
- Inhalers
- Aerosol cans
- Medication from businesses or clinics
- Over-the-counter ointments, lotions, and liquids
Needle drop box
The Holbrook Police Department has installed also recently installed a needle drop box in the police station lobby. Please dispose of your needles in this box and not the green med-return box.
